Major and General Education Courses

What lower-division courses are required for your major? What general education classes should you take? Use Assist.org, as a transfer tool to get a list of major courses based on the UC of your choice. Also, you are encouraged to complete the IGETC Pattern to satisfy your general education courses prior to transfer. It is important to schedule an appointment with a counselor to develop a student education plan based on the universities of your choice to ensure you are taking all the right classes for admission.

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

Allan Hancock College can help you get your admission guaranteed to a particating UC campus. Nothing feels better than getting a guaranteed place at a UC. TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) any one of six UC campuses. Use the links below to view TAG requirements for each participating UC campus.

Transfer Admission Planner (TAP)

To apply for TAG, you must have a Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) account and start inputing your college courses/semesters taken. Create a TAP account early to stay on track with UC transfer goals. Great news - all coursework per semester entered into TAP will be downloaded into the UC application when you are ready to apply!
