AHC District Police Department

At Allan Hancock College, student success is our highest priority. As such, the Allan Hancock College Police Department is dedicated to providing a safe environment where learning can take place.

Throughout the district our Police Officers, Campus Safety Officers and department Support Staff, are committed to maintaining an attitude of collegiality and school spirit. We are a community-oriented policing organization that strives to maintain working partnerships with the diverse community groups that we protect and serve.

The department adheres to the standards for the selection and training of Peace Officers as established by the laws of the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

Campus Police Officers are vested with full law enforcement powers and responsibilities throughout the State of California, identical to municipal police and sheriff departments.
