The Office of Institutional Grants
Supports faculty, staff, and administrators in developing grant proposals that align with the district’s strategic priorities. Staff help generate ideas, find funding sources, create budgets, write proposals, and ensure applications meet guidelines. The office interprets regulations, manages program requirements, and tracks, reports on, and renews existing grants.
OUR MISSION
The Allan Hancock College Institutional Grants Office believes in the capacity, potential, and commitment of people to create a more just society. We seek and receive funding for innovations committed to life-changing actions for our students and community, with a dedication to people of color, women, low-income, first-generation, and special populations who need the support of champions to become champions themselves.
We support projects that transform lives, break down barriers to success, and restructure oppressive systems to empower, educate, and elevate those in their pursuits of happiness, compassion, service, safety, and financial security through educational endeavors.
