Register for Winter and Spring Classes at Hancock

NOVEMBER 7, 2022-- Registration for winter and spring classes is now open at Allan Hancock College.

Hancock’s winter classes start Dec. 12 and run for six-to-eight weeks. The college is also offering more than 1,000 spring classes starting Jan. 23. Tuition fees are set by the state at $46 per unit for California residents.

Winter classes include courses in the areas of accounting, computer skills, business, film, anthropology, history and more. The majority of these classes are offered online. The college’s spring classes run from 8-17 weeks and are offered in in-person and online formats across a wide range of degree and certificate programs.

This winter and spring, eligible students are encouraged to sign up for the Hancock Promise Plus if they have not already done so. The Promise Plus provides students with free tuition regardless of residency through the 2022-23 academic year, including the upcoming spring semester. Lompoc students are also encouraged to learn more about Hancock’s LVC degree programs, which allow students to earn degrees in business, math and science, psychology and social and behavioral sciences exclusively at the college’s Lompoc Valley Center.

Hancock continues to offer a wide range of resources and support services for students, including financial aid, academic counseling, free tutoring, free food, free textbook borrowing and much more.

The college will also offer several noncredit Community Education classes this spring. These free classes, which also begin on Jan. 23, include noncredit English as a second language (NESL), citizenship, GED/HiSET exam courses, workplace skills classes, classes for older adults and more.
