Zines @ AHC Presents: Make a Mini-Zine

What’s a Zine? Zines (sounds like “Zeen”) are handmade DIY magazines that can look like, and can be about, whatever you want. Come learn a short history of zines and then fold and create your own. Pizza and art supplies will be provided. Sign up and bring your own voice!

Zines @ AHC Presents: Make a Perzine

Perzines are zines about your own personal experience. In this workshop, we will make zines themed around what you wish you knew when you were getting started at AHC. Learn how to fold a mini-zine and quarter-sized zine then decorate them however you want! Pizza and art supplies will be provided. Bring your own story!

Zines @ AHC Presents: Make a Fanzine
April 8, 2024 
1:30-3 p.m.
Fanzines are zines about whatever you’re excited and passionate about. Share what makes your major so interesting and learn what others are passionate about, too. Learn how to make a half-page zine and then share your fanzine with others. Pizza and art supplies will be provided. Bring your own passion!

Zines @ AHC Presents: Make a Group Zine
April 24, 2024
12-1:30 p.m.
Group zines are zines that are made with multiple contributors. Each person will make a page that will be added to a final group zine. The theme for the group zine is “Success at AHC” where attendees will be encouraged to share about what’s helped them be successful and any accomplishments they’re proud of. The group zine will be assembled after the workshop and attendees are encouraged to pick up their own copy the next day. Pizza and art supplies will be provided. Be your own cheerleader!
