The Bulldog Essentials at Allan Hancock College focuses on retention and academic success by connecting students with on-campus and community resources concerning clothing, childcare, food, hygiene, health, technology support, school supplies, shelter resources, and more.
Our goal is to create sustainable support systems that empower students to access the resources they need to succeed academically and personally.
Updates about the intake form:
The Fall intake form is now open. Services through Bulldog Essentials are for students
enrolled in Fall 2026. Awarding may delay to ensure verification of class attendance.

Food and Physical Wellness Resources
In Building J-100 and J-101, our program provides students with fresh food, CalFresh support, free clothing, and hygiene resources. Visit Building J to learn more!
The campus community can now request a classroom, group, or club presentation for students. Help us raise awareness about Bulldog Essentials amongst all students!
