Refund FAQs

What is the first step to ensure I receive my refund quickly?

Answer:
Complete your Refund Profile in TouchNet. Sign in to the myHancock portal, click the Refunds link, and select Refund Profile. Within TouchNet, choose the Refunds tab and follow the instructions to complete your ACH Refund Profile.

What happens if I accidentally entered invalid bank account information for my ACH Refund Profile?

Answer:
If a refund is submitted using incorrect bank account information, the deposit will fail. You will receive an email notification, and your refund will be issued as a digital check. Once you update your ACH bank account information, all future refunds will be disbursed using the updated method.

I received an email with my digital check refund. What do I do now?

Answer:
Click the link at the bottom of the email to view your refund. From there, select Deposit Your Refund and choose either Instant Deposit or Manual Deposit into your checking or savings account. You may also choose Print Refund Check.

What is the quickest way to receive my refund?

Answer:
The fastest way to receive your refund is by setting up an eRefund (direct deposit) through TouchNet in your myHancock portal. Your refund will be deposited into your checking or savings account. You’ll need the account name, account type, routing number, and bank account number to complete your refund profile.

My parents paid for my registration fees. Can my refund be deposited into their bank account?

Answer:
Yes. You may set up your Refund Profile using your parent’s checking or savings bank account information.
