Licensed Vocational Nursing

As a LVN, you will care for the sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled under the direction of physicians and registered nurses. Clinical practice will take place in our labs, local hospitals, and medical care facilities.  Your compassion and skill in patient care will help minimize the stress of patients and provide much needed support for registered nurses.

LVN students must complete the state-mandated hours in the classroom and hospital experience in order to be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Vocational Nurses. The Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) has fully accredited this program.  Our LVN program received a continued 4-year approval from the BNVPT on April 11, 2022.
