CSAR 8009 – Mogul Art and Sewing Art for Entrepreneurs 

  • In this 8-week hands-on workshop, students will explore the world of mixed-media art by creating decorative flowers from colorful pipe cleaners, painting vibrant acrylic backgrounds on canvas, and adding unique sewing and embroidery details. The course also guides students through opening and marketing their own Etsy shop, helping them showcase and sell their creations while gaining real-world small business skills.

CSAR 8010 – Basic Crocheting - Shawl

  • This Spanish-speaking basic crochet class is an introduction to making your first rectangular shawl. It will cover basic stitches like chain, single-crochet, double-crochet, and triple-crochet.

CSAR 8011 – Stained Glass 101

  • This introductory stained-glass workshop offers students a solid foundation in glass cutting, assembly, and soldering techniques. Over two weeks, students will complete a four-hour hands-on project and create a stained glass suncatcher to take home. The course is designed for beginners and encourages creative exploration while maintaining a strong focus on safe and responsible studio practices.

  • This class is designed for students with little or no musical experience who want to integrate music into their lives. Participants will learn basic singing, strumming rhythms, and how to accompany songs on the ukulele.

CSCT 8005 - Become a CA Notary Public 

  • This class provides new or previously commissioned Notary Publics with the education and skills to pass the state proctored examination, detect fraud, and be successful in a new career. There is a growing need for notaries in expanding financial, real estate, business, and law professions. For new applicants and notaries who need to renew their commissions, this class meets the 6-hour requirement mandated by law. Bring a driver's license or photo ID card and #2 pencils.

  • This course prepares notaries to become loan document signing specialists. Students learn duties and responsibilities, loan package documents, appointment management with buyers, and marketing their business.

CSCT 8081 - CPR Certification in Spanish 

  • Learn life-saving CPR skills in Spanish. This course covers the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants. Taught entirely in Spanish, participants will gain the confidence and knowledge to respond effectively in an emergency.

CSFT 8020 – Yoga for Health 

  • Improve overall health, physical performance, and mental sharpness in this yoga class with basic stretching and simple yoga postures. This class provides easy techniques for restoring and relaxing both the mind and body. Students increase flexibility, improve balance and strength, reduce stress and fatigue, and gain endurance. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and is perfect for a person who wants to start or resume an exercise program. Bring an exercise mat, towel, and water to class. Wear comfortable clothing.

CSFT 8025 – Latin Salsa Dancing

  • This class introduces students to popular Latin salsa dancing. Students learn rhythm patterns, step variations, proper posture and footwork, dance positions, and basic steps to the most popular dances including salsa, cha-cha, rumba, and tango. Learning Latin salsa dances will give students the confidence on the dance floor to attend any dance events!

CSFT 8030 – Beginning Tai Chi

CSFT 8034 – Beginning Tai Chi Fan

  • Tai Chi Fan exercises are simple, low-impact movements designed to increase flexibility, balance, range of motion, vitality, relaxation, mental focus, strength, and overall well-being. This graceful practice blends the flowing motions of Tai Chi with the elegant use of a traditional Chinese fan. Each student can learn at their own pace in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere. These exercises are safe and beneficial for all ages. A Tai Chi fan is required for this course. Students may bring their own fan that meets the course requirements or may purchase one from the instructor on the first day of class for $15.

CSHE 8001 - Fabulous Tea Parties

  • Learn to bake an entire high tea for four people! This weekend course will teach you everything you need to know to make a genuine British high tea experience to enjoy Sunday evening with your friends or family. Learn how to make a classic high tea including: a quiche, two sets of sandwiches, three types of cakes or cookies as well as British-style fruit scones, which you'll be able to enjoy with fresh cream and fruit jam. All guidance, recipes and ingredients will be provided.

  • This course introduces the fundamental techniques of making traditional Chinese dumplings. Topics include filling composition, folding methods, and multiple cooking techniques.
