Third Year of Wine Fest Pours Into Hancock

JUNE 13, 2025 -- Allan Hancock College is hosting its third annual wine festival at the college’s Santa Maria campus and is inviting the public to attend.

Sponsored by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce and presented by the Allan Hancock College Winery, this year’s West Coast College & University Wine Festival brings together wines from nine college winemaking programs, including Hancock, Cal Poly, Fresno State, Napa Valley College, and others from Oregon and Arizona. A selection of local wineries – like Flying Goat Cellars, Foxen Vineyard, and Hitching Post Wines – will also be pouring.

Guests can enjoy small bites from local favorites, such as Maya Mexican Restaurant, the Century Room at the Historic Santa Maria Inn, Testa Catering, and Starry Sky Café.

The festival will be open to the public, but attendees must be 21 or over and bring a valid ID to get in. Tickets can still be purchased online for $40 or at the door on the day of the event for $50. Tickets are limited.
