AHC & SBCC Host Locations for Upward Mobility Summit

JANUARY 17, 2025 -- Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara are proud to announce their partnership with the Upward Mobility Initiative as host locations for the Santa Barbara County Upward Mobility Summit, taking place on Friday, January 24, 2025. This important event is organized by a collective of government and nonprofit organizations that aims to bring together community leaders, policymakers, educators, and residents to address the critical issue of economic mobility in Santa Barbara County.

The summit will feature an engaging lineup of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions focused on innovative strategies to increase economic opportunity and equity across the region. Topics will include workforce development, affordable housing, access to education, and community collaboration.

Registration is now open at the Summit Registration Link on the Communify Website. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
