Festival Mozaic Returns to Hancock for an Afternoon of Chamber Music

JULY 21, 2026- Internationally acclaimed musicians will perform an afternoon of chamber music at Allan Hancock College as Festival Mozaic returns to Boyd Hall July 24. 

The concert will feature works by renowned composers John Adams, Johannes Brahms and Ernő Dohnányi, performed by Festival Mozaic's acclaimed ensemble of professional musicians. A free pre-concert talk begins at 3 p.m., followed by the concert at 4 p.m. in Boyd Hall (bldg. F) on the college's Santa Maria campus. 

The performance will be led by Scott Yoo, Festival Mozaic's music director, internationally recognized conductor and violinist, chief conductor and artistic director of the Mexico City Philharmonic, and host of the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Now Hear This. 

Founded in 1971, Festival Mozaic is one of California's premier chamber music festivals, bringing together distinguished musicians from around the world for performances, educational programs, and community events throughout the Central Coast each summer.
