Claim Your Degree

Previously, only students with a program of study and credits earned exclusively at Allan Hancock College (AHC) qualified for automatic degree and certificate awarding. While students with credits from other colleges could still earn degrees or certificates from AHC, they did not qualify for the auto-awarding process.

We are pleased to announce that we now offer auto-awarding for students who have earned credits from one of our top 10 feeder schools:

  • Cuesta College
  • Santa Barbara City College
  • Moorpark College
  • Oxnard College
  • Palomar College
  • San Diego Mesa College
  • Ventura College
  • Bakersfield College
  • American River College
  • Fresno City College

This new initiative ensures that eligible students with external credits from these colleges can benefit from the convenience of automatic degree and certificate awarding.

If you attended any other college, please see a Hancock counselor to determine if you meet the requirements for a degree.
