The Pride Center at Allan Hancock College is designed to assist sexual and gender minority students and allies in pursuing their academic and personal goals in a supportive, affirming environment.
The center offers various services including a safe space to hang out between classes, free hygiene items, assistance in accessing campus resources, and more.

Safe Space Location
Located on the Santa Maria Campus, the Pride Center is a welcoming, safe space for students of all gender identities and sexual orientations. The Pride Center is part of Building G, located near the Commons Area and Bookstore. Suggested parking for the Pride Center is in Lots 3, 4, and 6.

Looking For A Gender-Neutral Restroom?
Allan Hancock College has Gender-Neutral restrooms available for students and visitors
in need. To best promote comfort, safety, and equity for people of all gender identities,
this information outlines clear locations and accessibility details.
Location Details
Building A: The restroom location is on the first floor of the A Building between the staircase and elevator. The entrance of Building A has a handicap accessible entrance.
Building F: The entrance for the restroom can be found on the bottom right-hand side of the first floor in the Fine Arts Building. The first floor of the building does have a handicap accessible entrance.
Building I: The restroom door is on the outside of the Early Childhood Studies Building on the side furthest from the parking lot. The locked restroom marked for "Staff" is unavailable for student use at this time.
Building L: The restroom is located in the back, right-hand corner of the Library. The Library is a single-story building with a handicap accessible entrance.
