Earn a Cal Poly Sociology Degree Here at Hancock
The Cal Poly Bachelor’s Pathway in Sociology offers students the opportunity to earn
a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology without traveling to the San Luis Obispo campus. All
required courses are offered at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria with a schedule
designed for students balancing work, family, and school.

1. Complete the Sociology ADT
Be on track to earn your Associate in Arts for Transfer (Sociology) at Allan Hancock College.
2. Apply
Submit your application to the Cal Poly Bachelor’s Pathway in Sociology during your final year at AHC.
3. Financial Aid
Add Cal Poly’s school code 001143 to your financial aid application.
