Register Now for Fall Community Education Classes

Registration now open for fall Community Education courses

JULY 24, 2017 -- Students may now register for fall Community Education classes. Classes begin the week of August 21 throughout the community and at all Allan Hancock College campus locations, including the new Santa Ynez Valley Center located at Santa Ynez High School.

The tuition-free classes include GED preparation, computers, digital photography, beekeeping, painting and drawing, cooking and baking arts, needle arts, vocational and business skills training, retirement planning, citizenship, floral design, green gardening, career training and development certificates, English as a second language (ESL), fitness, College for Kids and more. Fees apply to some classes.

Community Education will offer an educational bus trip on November 10 to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art located at Hancock Park.

Printed copies of the fall 2017 Spectrum schedule of Community Education classes are available at all campus locations.

In-person assistance is available at Community Education (building S) on the Santa Maria campus.

Students may also receive one-on-one registration assistance at a registration workshop the week of August 14. Workshops will take place at the Santa Maria campus from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in rooms S-101 and S-103. Students can also receive assistance at the Lompoc Valley Center on Monday, August 14, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
