Picture a Better You -- Enroll in a Spring Community Education Class!

Classes offered include beekeeping, fitness, food photography and much more

DECEMBER 11, 2017--The schedule of spring classes offered through Allan Hancock College Community Education is now available online. Visit www.hancockcollege.edu and select Class Search. Spring classes begin the week of Jan. 22, and are offered throughout the community and at all Allan Hancock College locations.

New classes added to the spring 2018 schedule include Photography for Online Sales and Food Photography, taught by vocational education faculty coordinator, Michael Messina. Release your inner epicurean in a returning favorite: Fresh Pasta! The Italian Way.

Early birds who register for the educational bus tour will ride down to the Getty Center in Los Angeles on Friday, February 16. The Getty Center houses priceless works of art including photographs, paintings, sculptures and drawings from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.

Community Education also offers career training certificates, including Income Tax Preparation, which is only offered during the spring semester. Students can also prepare for their GED exam by registering for GED Test Preparation classes.  

Other courses include beekeeping, painting and drawing, cooking and baking arts, needle arts, business skills training, citizenship, landscaping, English as a Second Language, fitness and College for Kids. Fees apply to some classes.

Students can register online for spring classes, or receive registration assistance in person at Community Education (bldg. S) on the Santa Maria campus. New or returning students will need to complete the CCCApply application and should allow two hours for the process.

Community Education will host several registration workshops the week of Jan 15.
