Hancock Academy

The Learning Collective: Hancock Academy

Hancock Academy is back for Fall 2022! Faculty are encouraged to participate in this Canvas-based professional development series that offers a 12-hour stipend or PD hours based off successful completion of the course. There have been five Hancock Academy offerings within the last academic year, and we aim to continue this momentum for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023.

The inaugural Hancock Academy series, Introduction to Equity, will be offered again during Fall 2022 and will address implicit bias, universal design for learning, and applying diversity and inclusion to practical areas of instruction. Dates are: September 14, 21, 28 and October 5 from 6:00-7:00pm. If you have already participated, we encourage you to spread the word to your colleagues!
