About Us

The Learning Collective is an initiative from the Roadmaps to Success Committee, charged with implementing Guided Pathways on our campus.

Team Goals

  1. Work with LOAC on implementing the PLO assessment model
    1. Seek updates and input on how we can help.
  2. Work on a variety of opportunities such as PD sessions, brown bag lunches, and speakers to promote various innovations in learning.
    1. Hancock Academy
    2. Hancock Explores
    3. Cohort group, modeled after English
    4. ToolKit
  3. Increase participation from part-time faculty, staff and student with the committee.
    1. Reach out to Stephanie Robb for a student
    2. Reach out to Mark Miller or Academic Senate for Part-Time Faculty
  4. Collect data and seek out ways to utilize data for pedagogical advances
    1. More faculty and campus-wide input to gather what needs to be done.
  5. Institutionalize Ensure Learning Design Team and find a home under the CCPD structure
  6. Brand the Learning Collective
    1. Decide on the Logo
    2. Pick permanent home
    3. Promotion
