| The Allan Hancock College
Viticulture and Enology Club supports students who want to learn more
about wine appreciation and grape growing. As a club we coordinate winery
tours and vineyard events throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity
for members to help maintain vines during the growing season, harvest
fruit and oversee the winemaking process from start to finish.
We encourage and welcome people to be creative, innovative and pursue
interests they have regarding wine and vines.
The club is open to all students and we welcome participation from all
college programs. The AHCVE Club is a network between people who want
to learn more about viticulture and enology and those who can help educate
others on the subject as well as a fun opportunity to take part in an
occasional tour or vineyard work day.
First Club Meeting: Thursday March 1, 2007, 6 p.m. in Santa Maria campus
G106.
