Transfer Services
The AHC University Transfer Center provides personal assistance and a variety of services to students who plan to continue their education to a four-year university.
Transfer Services Include:
Transfer Counseling: Provide students with personalized counseling; accurate and up-to-date information on transfer requirements, and major preparation as well as develop educational plans that satisfy transfer requirements.
Four-year University Admission Representative Visits: Students can schedule an appointment to meet individually with a college or university representative.
Field Trips: the UTC organizes visits to four-year universities. Limited seating is available! Pre-Registration is required.
Workshops: the UTC provides a variety of workshops to assist students with useful transfer information. Topics include: learning transfer basics, exploring TAG agreements, applying online to CSU/UC campuses, and guidance for students who have been accepted to a four-year university.
Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG): AHC has Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) agreements with UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego and many more. While criteria vary for each campus, this is a great opportunity for AHC students to ensure transfer to the one of these great universities!
Transfer Day: The UTC organizes an annual Transfer Day, where representatives from various CSU campuses, UC campuses, and private universities, both in-state and out-of-state, will be available to answer questions about admissions requirements, majors, housing, financial aid, etc.

"I chose the fire technology program at Allan Hancock because of what it can provide for me. It's giving me a step above the other academies and throughout the state. Graduates of this academy have gone on to be the chiefs and the captains that are going to be hiring us, so when we go in for interviews by being able to say that we graduated at this academy they know what we've experienced. Allan Hancock College has provided me with the physical and mental capabilities through the classroom training we do each day and the physical training we do each morning. This academy pushes you to your boundaries and then you begin to work on those weaknesses; your weaknesses then become your strengths so you're actually growing as a person.
