Transfer Pathways

Antioch University - Santa Barbara

The following pathways have been developed by Allan Hancock College (AHC) counselors and are designed to provide students a clear route to complete lower division general education requirements and any lower division major courses in which AHC has an equivalent.

The pathways represent basic information a student would receive when meeting with a counselor to develop a Student Education Plan and are designed for academic advising purposes only. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with a counselor to discuss individual plans and needs before acting on these recommendations. The following information is based on the 2011-2012 Antioch University - Santa Barbara catalog.

Medical Assisting Student

"I came to Allan Hancock College as an 'older' student. I was pleased to find out they offered the medical assisting program that I had been looking for. The campus has a relaxed, student-friendly atmosphere, and the teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable. I plan on becoming a certified medical assistant and hope to find a job in either an ob/gyn or Oncology office."
