Kim Celles

Kim attended AHC immediately after high school. She began with an early understanding that she wanted to transfer to a four-year university but had no understanding of the transfer process. Kim applied for a job with College Achievement Now (CAN) during her first year at AHC and became both an employee and participant of the program. During her employment, Kim used her creative skills to craft and assist with various projects. This experience helped her realized she wanted to pursue a career in design. She changed her major and began looking at UCs that would allow her to pursue her new goal. Also while at AHC, Kim performed in the Dance Spectrum and Dimensions in Dance events. She was an intern for congresswoman Lois Capps. Kim’s ingenuity, background in business administration, and future training as a designer, will undoubtedly help her accomplish her long-term plans of owning a design business in Southern California after college. She transfers to Davis in the fall of 2013.

Transferred: Fall 2013 to UC Davis
