Registration Continues for Hancock Summer Youth Sports Camps

A trio of summer camps will be held

GirlsYouthBasketballCampMAY 25, 2018--There is still time to register for a trio of summer youth sports camps offered by Allan Hancock College athletics. The Hancock baseball and women’s basketball programs will host four-day summer youth clinics next month. Parents can register their children online at athletics.hancockcollege.edu. Payment is due the first day of a particular camp.

The baseball program will host clinics at John Osborne Field on the Santa Maria campus from Monday, June 11, through Thursday, June 14, with a second clinic scheduled for Monday, June 18, through Thursday, June 21. Children, ages six through 13, can sharpen their hitting, fielding and pitching skills at the camp that will run each day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost to attend a clinic is $125 per child, and $75 for each additional family member. Children can attend both clinics for $200. Parents and guardians should first register online at athletics.hancockcollege.edu/camps/baseball_camps_2018. Checks should be written to Allan Hancock College Baseball.  All camp participants will receive a free t-shirt. The women’s basketball youth summer camp runs from Monday, JuneBoysYouthBaseballCamp 18, through Thursday, June 21. Hancock coaches and players will provide instruction inside Joe White Memorial Gymnasium each day from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The camp is designed for girls ages 6 to 15 of all skill levels. The basketball camp costs $75.

Online registration remains open. To register, parents can visit the website at athletics.hancockcollege.edu/camps/2018_Girls_Basketball_Camp .  Parents must bring cash or a check made out to Allan Hancock College Women’s Basketball on the first day of instruction.
