Youth Dance Classes Offered Through Hancock's College For Kids Program

Nearly 20 youth dance classes available to choose from

Jan. 17, 2017 -- Registration is under way for spring College for Kids youth dance classes in ballet, pointe, hip-hop/jazz funk, folklórico, contemporary dance, and more.

Classes are held at either the Columbia Business Center near Costco or on the AHC Santa Maria campus in room D-10.  Registration is now being taken for the following:

  • Beginning Ballet I, January 23 – May 17
  • Beginning Ballet II, January 23 – May 17
  • Intermediate Ballet , January 23 – May 17
  • Intermediate Ballet II, January 24 – May 18
  • Intermediate/Advanced Ballet, January 24 – May 18
  • Beginning Pointe, January 24 – May 18
  • Intermediate Pointe, January 24 – May 18
  • Advanced Ballet/Pointe, January 24 – May 18
  • Beginning Tap, January 28 to May 20
  • Introduction to Ballet, January 28 – May 20
  • Intro to Hip-Hop & Jazz Funk, January 28 – May 20
  • Beg/Int Ballet Folklórico, January 28 – May 20
  • Beginning Hip-Hop/Jazz, January 24 – May 18
  • Int/Adv Jazz-Funk/Hip-Hop, January 24 – May 18
  • Int/Adv Contemporary Dance, January 27 – May 19
  • Magical Moments Production, February 20 – May 20
  • Youth Dance Company, February 20 – May 20
  • Ballroom Dancing for Youth, April 1 – May 6

Most classes range from beginning to advanced levels for ages 4 – 18. Course fees vary.

New students and those without a user name and password must first apply for admission to the college before registering for classes. To access the online admission application, click Apply & Register and then select the appropriate admission form.

 
Ballet Girls

Hancock’s College for Kids programs offers nearly 20 youth dance classes including ballet, tap, hip-hop, and ballroom.
