Community Education Offers Fitness Class For Active Seniors

Learn aerobic routines and more in this low-impact exercise course

FEBRUARY 26, 2016--Are you already walking to stay fit? Why not add a few more aerobics and a bit of strength-training into the mix?

Community Education offers an Intermediate Senior Exercise class that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 29-May 5, from 8:30-9:25 a.m. at the Columbia Business Center (900 E. Stowell Road, Santa Maria) in Room 33. The fee is $48.

This low-impact aerobic exercise class is designed to promote cardiovascular conditioning, firm muscles and increase the body's ability to metabolize fat. Learn aerobic routines, strength exercises using light, hand-held weights for upper-body conditioning and resistance floor work that concentrates on toning the lower body.

Register online at www.hancockcollege.edu/communityeducation, click Apply for Fee-Based Classes and use CRN 41787. You may receive registration assistance in person at Community Education (bldg. S) on the Santa Maria campus.
