Financial Aid Available for Hancock Students

Don't let college costs get in the way of your future!

JUNE 30, 2014 -- Do you want to attend classes this fall at Allan Hancock College but you’re not sure you can afford it?  Here is some information that can help:

  • More than half of Allan Hancock College students receive financial aid, and you could be one of them!
  • Financial aid can help you pay the cost of education, with assistance coming in several forms, including grants – which don’t have to be repaid – loans and work study.  In addition, approximately $350,000 in scholarships is awarded every year to incoming, current or transferring students at Allan Hancock College.
  • The Board of Governors’ (BOG) fee waiver pays enrollment fees for eligible students.  Apply today to see if you qualify.
  • For help with other expenses, complete the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) to receive up to $8,000 to cover all other fees (such as nonresident tuition, student health fee, materials fees, textbooks, transportation, living expenses and more).

The fall class schedule is now online.  Go to www.hancockcollege.edu and click Class Search on the home page.  Registration begins June 30 and most classes begin the week of Aug. 18.
