Earn Career Certificate in Floral Design

Three different classes are being offered.

JANUARY 30, 2014 -- Develop a designer’s eye for floral artistry and learn to create attractive floral arrangements for seasonal and special events in Community Education’s floral design classes.  Classes may be taken individually for personal growth or collectively toward a professional career development certificate in floral design.

Choose from Beginning Floral Design, Floral Design: Beyond Basics II and Floral Design: Special Events.  The materials fee is $80 per class; all classes meet at the Luis Oasis Senior Center Roistein Hall, 420 Soares Ave., Orcutt.

Beginning Floral Design is currently in progress and meets Thursdays from 6 to 8:55 p.m. through March 13.  Floral Design: Beyond Basics II meets Thursdays, March 27 – May 15, from 6 to 8:55 p.m.  One class of Floral Design: Special Events is currently in progress and meets Wednesdays from 6 to 8:55 p.m. through March 12.  A second class meets Wednesdays, March 26 – May 14, from 6 to 8:55 p.m.  Students may still enroll/register even if a class has already started.
