Learn How to Fully Use Your Digital Camera

Classes are offered in Santa Maria, Lompoc and Solvang.

JANUARY 23, 2014 -- Aspiring and seasoned photographers can learn new skills and become proficient in using digital cameras by enrolling in digital photography classes offered through Allan Hancock College Community Education.  All camera formats are welcome, from 35mm DSLR to compact and point-and-shoot styles.  A Level 1 class covers camera menus, shooting modes and photographic techniques such as flash use, shooting in low light, and capturing various types of images.  Printing, archiving and using photos on the web are also discussed.  Level II classes explore advanced digital camera skills, digital editing and image manipulation.  A $5 materials fee per class is required.

The Digital Photography Level 1 class begins Jan. 27; Digital Photography Level 2 classes begin March 24 and also March 27.  Classes are held at the AHC Santa Maria campus and at the Lompoc Valley and Solvang centers.
