GED Classes Available Through Community Education

Registration is still available; classes begin Jan. 21 and 22.

JANUARY 21, 2014 -- There is still time to register for Preparing for the GED Tests classes offered through Allan Hancock College Community Education.  Classes begin Jan. 21 and 22 and are offered throughout the community.

GED prep classes are free and are designed to help students successfully pass the GED tests.  Morning, afternoon and evening sessions are available; locations include Santa Maria High School, Workforce Resource Center, Center for Employment Training in Santa Maria, Atkinson Center, and the AHC Santa Maria and Lompoc Valley campuses.

See the complete list of GED prep classes online at www.hancockcollege.edu.  Select the Class Search mode, then select BASK (Basic Skills) in the class subject area.  They are also listed in the print copies of the spring 2014 Spectrum schedule of Community Education classes, available at all campus locations.

Register or apply directly online at www.hancockcollege.edu.  Click Apply & Register and proceed.  Students may also receive registration and counseling assistance in person at Community Education (bldg. S) on the Santa Maria campus.
