Short-Term Classes Offered in March, April and May

Classes last one day to eight weeks.

FEBRUARY 28, 2014 -- Want to enroll at Hancock now?  Consider a short-term class.  Short-term classes can be one day to eight weeks.  More than 60 such classes are available beginning March 24 and later.  These classes are offered online, at the Santa Maria campus and at the Lompoc Valley and Vandenberg AFB centers.  Some of the eight-week-long classes offer the same amount of credit as a semester-length class.  Other classes are just one-half credit or more. 

Classes offered include anthropology, business, dance, economics, English, film production, fire technology, graphics, geography, history, humanities, law enforcement training, multimedia arts, physical education, physical science, political science, psychology, sociology, Spanish, speech, welding and more.

For class details, visit www.hancockcollege.edu and click Class Search, Spring 2014, Credit classes.  In the Start Month box, search for classes beginning in March, April or May.  You can also search by location.  For specific class information, including registration deadlines, click the blue CRN (Course Record Number) for each class.

The enrollment fee for California residents is $46 per credit.  Other fees may apply. 

Classes are open to anyone who is 18 years or older and able to benefit from instruction, including high school graduates under age 18.  Current high school juniors and seniors are also eligible for enrollment through Hancock’s College Now! program.
