Softball Team's Home Stand Moved to Hagerman Sports Complex

While the softball field is being renovated, home games will move to local sports complex.

FEBRUARY 17, 2014 -- Due to the on-going construction of the softball field on the Santa Maria campus, the Allan Hancock College softball team will play its first four home games of the 2014 season across town at the Hagerman Sports Complex

“We are very excited to unveil our brand new softball facility.  Unfortunately, the construction project encountered a few delays.  Thanks to the generosity of the city of Santa Maria, the Hagerman Sports Complex will serve as the Hancock softball team’s home field for our first four home games,” said Athletic Director Kim Ensing.

New dugouts and a new backstop are being added to the field.  The estimated completion date is in early March.

The Bulldogs will play Taft College on Thursday, Feb.20, at 2 p.m.  Hancock hosts Citrus College on Saturday, Feb.22, at 12 p.m., followed by a game against LA Valley College on Thursday, Feb.27, at 2 p.m, as well as a Tuesday, March 5 contest against Bakersfield.  All four games will take place at the Hagerman Sports Complex, which is located at 3300 Skyway Drive in Santa Maria.
