Credit Classes Offered This Summer in the Lompoc Valley

Additional classes offered in Santa Maria and online.

APRIL 28, 2014 -- Priority registration begins April 28 for dozens of summer credit classes being offered at Allan Hancock College’s Lompoc Valley and Vandenberg AFB centers. 

More than 150 summer credit classes are being offered at the Santa Maria campus and 101 are being offered online.

Summer credit classes last four, six or eight weeks.  All classes begin June 16.  Four-week classes end July 10, six-week classes end July 24 and eight-week classes end Aug. 7.

Classes at the Lompoc Valley Center include administration of justice, art, biology, chemistry, dance, early childhood studies, English, graphics, health education, history, humanities, math, music, PE, political science, psychology, sociology, Spanish, speech and more.  Classes at the Vandenberg AFB Center include psychology and public speaking.

To register online, visit and log on to the myHancock student portal.  Click the Student tab, then Register/Add/Drop/Search Classes.

All California residents pay a $46 per credit enrollment fee.  In addition, all students pay a $16 health fee for the summer term.  Students attending classes at the Santa Maria campus also pay up to $10 a year for the Student Center fee.  Other minimal fees may apply.

The general public is welcome to attend classes at the Vandenberg AFB Center; classes are not restricted to base personnel.  Allan Hancock College classes are held in the new Base Education Center located at 641 Utah Blvd, Bldg. 13640, Rm. 216.  AHC students from off base will be issued an access permit for the duration of the class.  For more information, call the center at 605-5915 or 734-3500.
