Learn How to Become a California Notary Public

One-day class meets Oct. 19

SEPTEMBER 18, 2013 -- There is a growing need for notaries in the expanding financial, real estate, business and law professions.  You, too, can be a California Notary Public and own your own business or earn extra income.  Learn how in just one day.

Register now for How to Become a CA Notary Public.  The class meets Saturday, Oct.19, from 8 a.m. to 5:25 p.m. on the AHC Santa Maria campus, Room H – 105.  The fee is $100 and includes the Notary Public Study Guide and Workbook.

This class provides new or previously commissioned Notary Publics with the education and skills to pass the state proctored examination, detect fraud and be successful in a new career.  For new applicants and notaries who need to renew their commissions, this class meets the six-hour class requirement mandated by law in 2005.

Bring a driver's license or photo I.D. card, No. 2 pencils and a check or money order payable to the state proctors in the amount of $40 for the state proctored examination.
