Early Childhood Studies Course Teaches Administrator Responsibilities

Class meets Nov. 22-23 and Dec. 6-7.

NOVEMBER 5, 2013 -- Allan Hancock College is offering a four-day Professional Ethics class for early childhood studies students.  This class, ECS 321, CRN 22004, is required for students enrolled in the Early Childhood Studies: Preschool/Infant-Toddler Program Director curriculum.

The class offers a review of an administrator’s ethical responsibilities to children, families, community and society based on the standards recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Class meetings are on the Santa Maria campus in building I, Room 115, from 6 to 8:50 p.m., Fridays, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays, Nov. 23 and Dec. 7.

Registration is currently under way.  The enrollment fee for the one-credit course is $46 plus minimal fees.
