Registration Categories

As shown below, registration is divided into three categories: priority, open and College Now!. Priority registration takes place days one through five; open registration begins day six. Some priority registration status is based on credits completed at Allan Hancock College. Credits completed are those which have been annotated to your transcript with a final grade of D or better. Completed credits do not include courses in which you are currently enrolled.

Note that the first day of priority registration is for officially designated participants of the listed groups. Members or former members of the United States Armed Forces should check with the Financial Aid office to verify eligibility. Your military ID card or DD214 will be required for verification.

Students who have more than 100 credits and meet established criteria may be eligible to appeal for priority registration. Go to www.hancockcollege.edu and click Apply & Register* on the home page, then click Appeal for Priority Registration located under Register for Classes.
