Brush Up on Your Chinese Language Skills

Class begins April 4.

MARCH 13, 2013 -- Allan Hancock College Community Education offers a Chinese Language/Culture II course for students who would like to continue learning the Chinese language.  The class is designed for the person who has already taken the Intro to Chinese Language/Culture class or who has some knowledge of the Chinese language.  The course focuses on the Mandarin Chinese Pinyin Romanization system as a tool for learning Chinese using simplified Chinese characters.  Students learn conversational Chinese language and culture.

The class meets Thursdays, April 4 – May 16, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on the Santa Maria campus, room W-31.  The fee is $84.

Register online at www.hancockcollege.edu under CRN (course number) 42089.  Log on to myHancock and click the Student tab to proceed.  Students may also receive registration assistance in person at Community Education (bldg. S) on the Santa Maria campus.  Registration hours are Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
