Share Your Creative Writing with Others

New class!

JUNE 7, 2013 -- Have you always wanted to share your writing with others?  Now is your chance in a new Creative Writing in Spanish class, offered this summer through Allan Hancock College Community Education.

In the class, which is taught in Spanish by a bilingual instructor, students create and share their own writing with other students in English or Spanish while exploring different literature genres, such as short stories, poetry, drama and more.  This is an opportunity for those who love to write, but have not had a chance to share and receive feedback on their writing.

Be inspired by others in this creative writing workshop!

The class meets on Tuesdays, June 18 – July 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Santa Maria campus, room C-10.  The fee is $48.

This is a Community Education course, and students do not receive college credit for completing the class.

Register online at Log on to the myHancock portal, click the Student tab, then Register/Add/Drop/Search classes and follow the instructions. The CRN (course number) is 10685. You may also receive registration assistance in person at Community Education (bldg.S) on the Santa Maria campus. Print copies of the summer 2013 Spectrum schedule of Community Education classes are available at all campus locations.

For more information, visit Community Education (bldg. S) on the Santa Maria campus between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, or call (805) 922-6966 ext. 3209 for more information.
