Summer Credit Classes Still Available in the Lompoc Valley

More than 30 are still open.

JUNE 5, 2013 -- Registration is under way for Allan Hancock College summer credit classes being offered at the college’s Lompoc Valley and Vandenberg AFB centers, as well as the Santa Maria campus.  Most classes last eight weeks; others last six weeks or less.

The 32 classes still available in Lompoc and at Vandenberg AFB include administration of justice, art, biology, computer business information and office technologies, chemistry, early childhood studies, English, environmental technology, graphics, health education, history, humanities, math, music, physical education, political science, psychology, sociology, Spanish and speech.

All summer classes begin the week of June 17; registration continues through June 21.  Six week classes end July 24 and eight-week classes end Aug. 7.

All California residents pay and enrollment fee of $46 per credit.  In addition, all students pay a $16 health fee for the summer session.  Other minimal fees may apply.

The general public is welcome to attend classes at the Vandenberg AFB Center; classes are not restricted to base personnel.  Students will be issued an access permit for the duration of the class.  For more information, call the center at 605-5915 or 734-3500.
