Community Education Classes Offered This Fall in the Santa Ynez Valley

Courses include art, ESL, quilting, compuers and more.

JUNE 26, 2013 -- This fall, Allan Hancock College will offer Community Education classes in the Santa Ynez Valley.  Classes include English as a second language, art, digital photography, quilting, and more.  Registration begins June 29; most classes begin the week of Aug. 19. 

Classes offered at the Solvang Center include Reading, Writing, and Math; Intro to English A1; Intro to English B1; ESL Instructional Lab; Watercolor Painting; Digital Photography, Levels 1and 2; Computers and You: Level 1; Introduction to Microsoft Word; and Introduction to Excel.

In Buellton, Painting in Oils & Acrylics will be offered at the Recreation Center, and Quilting is being held at the Senior Center.

To register online beginning June 29, visit www.hancockcollege.edu and click the Apply and Register link.  Select the Fall 2013 term, then Community Education and proceed.  Most Community Education classes are free; some require minimal materials fees.  

Print copies of the fall 2013 Spectrum Schedule of Community Education classes will be available June 27.  Spectrum contains a basic listing of fall classes available at the time of publication.  Students are encouraged to access the online Class Search for more details and the most current list of class offerings.
