Registration Continues for Spring Classes in Santa Maria

More than 300 classes are still available.

JANUARY 9, 2013 -- Registration continues through Jan. 25 for the more than 300 spring credit classes still available at the Santa Maria campus.  Most of these are semester-length classes that begin the week of Jan. 22, 2013

Other classes offered are eight-week “term” classes beginning Jan. 22 (Term 3) or March 25 (Term 4).  Dozens of Fast Track classes, which last less than eight weeks, begin throughout the semester.

Spring classes are also being offered at the Lompoc Valley, Vandenberg AFB, and Solvang centers, and online.

Open classes offered at the Santa Maria campus include auto body technology, accounting, art, business, culinary arts, dance, early childhood studies, electronics, English, film, graphics, history, human services, math, music, physical education, photography, paralegal studies, psychology, speech, welding and more.

For details about these open classes, visit the AHC website at www.hancockcollege.edu and click the Class Search link on the home page.  Select Spring 2013, then Credit classes.  On the next screen, select “Santa Maria” in the Campus box and “Yes” in the Open Classes Only? box in the lower left column and then click Submit.

All students register online via myHancock, which is accessed from the home page.  Click the Student tab, then Register/Add/Drop/Search Classes

New students and those without a user name and password must first apply for admission to the college before registering for classes.  To access the online admission application, click the Apply & Register link on the homepage.

The enrollment fee for California residents is $46 a unit, meaning a typical three-unit class costs $138.  Other minimal fees apply.
