ArtStudentShowKRoblesJANUARY 23, 2013 -- The Allan Hancock College Annual Fine Arts Student Art Show is now open in the Ann Foxworthy Gallery, and will continue to be on display through Feb. 22.

A reception for the artists will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the gallery.

This year’s exhibit features 115 works in various media, created by students enrolled in the fine arts program.  Inventive artists from all areas of fine arts present their best sculptures, paintings, pastels, graphic designs, photographs, and more.  Kicking off the new semester, this exhibit inspires new students with the variety and competency of the work, which was selected by instructors during December’s fall semester finals.

Subject matter includes portraits, abstracts, type abstractions, CD cover designs, digital and traditional photography.  Ceramics and assemblages round out the variety of works in this extensive show.ArtStudentOPearson
