Community Ed Offers Spanish for Travelers Class

Class meets March 26-April 30

FEBRUARY 28, 2013 -- Want to learn a bit of Spanish before you take your next cruise or trip?  Enroll now in the Spanish for Travelers class, being held March 26 – April 30.

You will learn how to introduce yourself, greet people and communicate your basic needs as a traveler, such as asking for directions to a place of interest.  You will also learn vocabulary and expressions related to restaurants, shops and hotels and more.  This class will inspire you to start planning your next trip to Latin America, the Caribbean or Spain!

The class meets on Tuesdays, March 25 – April 30, from 5 to 6:55 p.m., in the Community Education building, room S-108.  The course fee is $60. 

Register online at www.hancockcollege.edu using CRN (course number) 41838.  Log on to myHancock and click the Student tab to proceed.  Students may also receive registration assistance in person at Community Education (bldg. S) on the Santa Maria campus.  Registration hours are Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
