Learn to Make Floral Designs for Special Events

Class meets March 28-May 16

FEBRUARY 28, 2013 -- Learn the delicate art of transforming flowers and greenery into small-scale arrange-ments for wearing on clothing or larger-scale items for décor or special events, such as weddings and parties.  Allan Hancock College Community Education offers a Floral Design: Special Events class on Thursdays, March 28 – May 16, from 6 to 8:55 p.m. in the Community Education building, room S-112.

Students learn the principles of design on small-scale projects by using a variety of hand-made, floral-inspired gift items and party or wedding favors and create arrangements to take home weekly.  The class materials fee is $80.

This class may also be applied to the Floral Design Noncredit Career Development Certificate.
