AHC Concert Band to Perform Sept. 29

The Allan Hancock College Concert Band will present its first performance of the season on Saturday, September 29, at 7:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Santa Maria.

The band, led by director Greg Stoll, will perform a wide variety of music, including:

“Journey Into Diablo Canyon” by David Shaffer
“Hill Country Holiday” by Robert Sheldon
“Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modeste Moussorgsky
“Toccata Marziale” by Ralph Vaughan Williams
“Florentiner March” by Julius Fučik
“El Palamino Noble” by Joseph Compello
“Pacific Island Fantasy” arranged by Sammy Nestico
Cole Porter Songs arranged by Russell Bennett

Tickets are $10 each for general admission and $5 each for seniors and Allan Hancock College staff, faculty and students. The church is located at 2970 Santa Maria Way.
