Facilities Planning and Construction
The Associate Superintendent/ Vice President Finance and Administration, is responsible
for district-wide facilities master planning and major capital construction projects.
Responsibilities also include project bid document development and construction contract
administration; risk management; legal coordination and litigation on construction
matters; and legislative advocacy. The vice president chairs the Bond Measure I, Implementation
Team and co-chairs the Facilities Council.

Maintenance & Operations
The Director, Plant Services is responsible for building maintenance and related utilities
and systems; landscape/irrigation maintenance; automotive maintenance; campus mail
handling; and shipping and receiving, and hazardous materials management. Responsibilities
also include minor building repairs and alterations projects, office relocations/furniture
moves and setup/take down of all furniture and equipment needs for community and college
events. In addition, the director is responsible for processing all U.S. Postal Service
mail and intercampus mail and for shipping, receiving and delivery of all packages,
to and from UPS, RPS, and DHL Airborne.
