AHC Bulldog Card
Your AHC Bulldog Card will come in a bright green envelope. Do not throw this away!
Allan Hancock College has partnered with Higher One, a refund management company,
to disburse your fee refunds, financial aid and scholarships to you as quickly as
possible. This system uses a debit MasterCard, the “AHC Bulldog Card”, to make timely
deposits to you. This program gives the college the ability to quickly deliver any
school payments, financial aid or scholarship to you in a matter of days. The “AHC
Bulldog Card” will arrive in a bright green envelope. Please do not throw away this important card as it is your way to a faster refund!
The AHC Bulldog Card is designed to provide you with more options for receiving funds
that are due to you. Your options include:
- Same business day deposit to a Higher One checking account (AHC Bulldog Card). Money
deposited to the account the same business day funds are released by Allan Hancock
College to Higher One.
- Deposit to another account, (personal checking or savings account). Money in two
to three business days once funds are released by Allan Hancock College to Higher
- Paper check. Money in five to seven business days once funds are released by Allan
Hancock College to Higher One.
Activate your card as soon as you receive it. Remember, even if you are not currently
expecting a refund from Allan Hancock College, you may be eligible to receive a payment
or refund in the future.
Your AHC Bulldog Card will be mailed to your current address on file with the college.
It is critical that you verify your mailing address as soon as possible. Go to the myHancock portal student tab and click on Update Personal Information in the My Registration channel.
