AHC Viticulture and Enology Club
The Allan Hancock College Viticulture and Enology Club supports students who want
to learn more about wine appreciation and grape growing. The club coordinates winery
tours and vineyard events throughout the year.
This is an excellent opportunity for members to help maintain vines during the growing
season, harvest fruit and oversee the winemaking process from start to finish.
The AHCVE Club is a network between people who want to learn more about viticulture
and enology and those who can help educate others on the subject as well as a fun
opportunity to take part in an occasional tour or vineyard work day.

"I feel lucky to have discovered the agribusiness program at Allan Hancock College. The faculty and staff are so helpful and encouraging. With their help I realized how much I want to work in the wine industry and one day own my own winery. The facilities in the new Industrial Technology Complex are top of the line. I can basically be a part of the process of planning, growing and marketing wine on campus. Not many community colleges offer their students the same opportunities."
