Film & Video Production

Program Overview
Film and video production courses provide students with the necessary training to become camera operators, sound recordists and video editors. Most of the courses are transferrable to the UC and Cal State systems.
The Film and Video program at Allan Hancock Colleges affords students the opportunity to study the discipline with courses in three core areas:
- Film/Video Production
- Screenwriting
- Film Studies
Students write, produce and edit narrative and documentary projects in a series of courses designed to bring students from beginning through intermediate production and post-production techniques.
AHC is proud to offer our students access to the latest in digital production and post-production technology.

Allyson Noland
Agribusiness Student
"I chose to take classes here in the agribusiness program because I work in the wine industry and really feel that it's important to have as much knowledge as possible. My purpose in taking classes is just to educate myself so then I can hopefully go back to work and educate both my coworkers as well as customers that we have."
