Partnering with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, offers bachelor of science degrees in food science, nutrition,
nutrition with a culinary concentration, food science with a culinary concentration,
and future plans for a Culinology® degree. The department is equipped with a food
processing pilot plant and a food preparation laboratory.
Allan Hancock College and Cal Poly collaborate with their career centers to provide
customized placement for employers, workers, and jobseekers in culinary arts, food
sciences, diatetics, nutrition and Culinology® industries to create working leaders
in our community.
This is a USDA CSREES funded project. CSREES mission is to advance the knowledge
for agriculture, the environment, human health and well being in communities; through
a national program leadership and federal assistance.
